The Accommodating Technology Committee (ATC) is committed to enhancing accessibility at MSU. We explore ways by which educational tools can be rendered accessible to the entire University, regardless of specific abilities and disabilities. Members review and recommend universally designed teaching and learning tools with the vision that these choices will become available to students, staff, and faculty members throughout our campus.
ATC meetings are open to all members of the MSU Committee. In 2020-2021, the ATC will meet on the first Thursday of each month during the academic year from 1:00–2:00pm in 215 Computer Center, unless otherwise noted. Until further notice all meetings will be virtual.
The ATC uses a Listserv to communicate with members. To join, send an email to listserv@list.msu.edu and include "SUBSCRIBE ATC-CAFE" in the body of the message. If you have difficulties signing up, please email atc@msu.edu.
Minutes will be posted for each meeting after they are approved by the Committee.
In 2011, the ATC drafted an Open Letter on Digital Publishing intended to generate support for the use of accessible e-books at higher education institutions. Please read the letter and let us know if you're interested in being added as a signatory.
Communications concerning ATC and this website should be directed to atc@msu.edu.
